Curiously Wicked was launched in 2010 with the sole aim of providing true connoisseurs of real chocolate with the quality they desire.

Following more than six months of market research where we studied all competition within 200 miles of Newcastle upon Tyne, we found that sugar, polyols, glycerine, preservatives and in many cases ready made compounds were pretty much common ingredients. We wanted to be different.

We source our chocolate from all over the world and choose it carefully to complement the fresh cream or pure water truffle centre it surrounds. We don't add sugar unless caramel is involved and even then, we use the finest unrefined ingredients to achieve a richer, fuller flavour.

Our discerning customers come back regularly and we pride ourselves on building close relationships with them. It means we get honest feedback and their suggestions result in our providing exactly what those who love real chocolate expect.
